Omni Note is a very intuitive memo tool that users can add multiple photos, drawings, voice/music and texts into memo to effectively record idea, diary, to do list, schedule and more.

Where are the icons and lock feature from the

For the update of Omni Note to version 1.1, we uploaded new binary code and screen shot two days ago and waiting for review by apple staff.
ReplyDeleteBut for unknown reason, we found this upload of new screen shot replaced the existing screen shot for version 1.0 too.
The icons and lock feature you saw is for version 1.1.
We are very sorry for causing you this trouble. We will fix it as soon as we figure out the reason.

I figured out that to delete a category you have to close the app and then go back in and delete.

ReplyDeleteI really like the Omni Note application and how you have made it to resemble the apple notes application, but packed with features.
Here are a couple of suggestions on how you can improve the application and also fix a couple of bugs I stumbled upon.
Please make it so that if you have 24h time enabled on your iphone/ipod it is that way in Omni Note as well. Right now the time stamp shows up as “04:52 em” instead of “16:52”.
If you try to delete an image within a note you are asked “Do you wnat to delete?” a misspell that should be changed.
The name/headline of a note should only be taken from the first line of the same note, right now the headline is created from the first 25 or so letters in the note even if they are on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd row.
I really think that the lines on the category and note pages (not the note it self) should be a dark colour instead of white, it would make those pages more visible. Much like they are in the apple notes app.
I have not been able to import documents from google docs, even though the app tells me that the document has been imported. Export seems to work fine though.
Please make URLs clickable.
It would also be nice if you could add a couple of fonts to choose from.

Found a bug that I would like to report, if you type an "&" (without the quotes) anywhere in a note and save it, the app with automatically erase the "&" and everyting after it when you open the note again.

그러나 작은 문제점들 때문에 힘들게 만든 기능중 일부가
사장되고 있는 것 같아서 안타깝습니다
다음의 사항이 업데이트 되었으면 하고
간절히 부탁드리겠습니다
1) 노트를 새로 만들기 까지 과정이 너무 번거롭습니다
실행하면, 카테고리선택->+버튼->CreateNote 세 단계가
필요한데 자주 쓰다보면 이게 의외로 오래걸립니다
기본 메모장이나 어썸노트등에서 단 한번 클릭으로
새 노트를 추가하는 것과 많은 차이가 있습니다
실행 로딩도 오래걸리는 편이라 불편함이 더 크게 느껴집니다
+ 버튼을 두개의 버튼으로 분리해서 '새노트'와 '새카테고리'
로 하여 새노트를 바로 만들 수 있게 하고
프로그램 종료시 가장 마지막에 선택했던
카테고리(또는 노트)에서 시작할 수 있게 하는 옵션이 있으면
해결할 수 있는 문제로 생각됩니다
(사실 카테고리가 중첩될 필요도 없으므로 새카테고리 버튼은
필요 없다고 생각됩니다)
2) Drawing 에서 (다단계) Undo 가 필요합니다
선은 잘 못 그리는 경우가 아주 많은데
백스페이스로 간단히 수정할 수 있는 타이핑과는 달리
지우개로 힘들게 지워야 해서 Drawing 기능이 거의
현실성이 없는 기능이 되는 것 같습니다
물론 일단 파일을 닫은 후에는 Undo 가 필요 없습니다
3) 이것은 2) 가 구현되면 함께 해결될 문제이긴 한데
Drawing 에서 전체 내용 지우기가 아무런 경고도 없이
손쉽게 누를 수 있게 되어 있어서 순식간에 기록 내용이
날아가버리는 문제가 있습니다
게다가 2) 때문에 억지로 자주 써야 하는 지우개와 붙어 있어서
문제가 더 심각합니다
이 버튼을 쓸 바에는 좌상단 x 버튼을 쓰게 되기 때문에
애초에 필요 없는 버튼인 것 같습니다
4) 약간 덜 중요한 의견입니다만..
Badge 알림 기능을 넣었으면합니다
'별표' 표시 기능을 넣어서
그런 메모 항목들의 수만 외부에 표시해 주어도
매우 유용할 것 같습니다
5) 구현이 가능할지 모르겠으나..
Drawing 은 획단위로 삭제했으면 합니다
지우개로 지우는 것은 현실성이 너무 없습니다
속도가 중요하지 않기 때문에 PhatPad 처럼
각 획을 중첩해서 그려주다가 삭제 펜과 만나는 모든 획을
지워 주는 식으로 해야 의미가 있습니다
6) 동기화를 할 때 카테고리 단위로도 할 수 있으면 합니다
지금은 아무 문서도 선택을 안하면 뒤늦게야 export 가
안된다고 나오는데 (이 자체도 이상하지만)
이 상황에서는 그냥 카테고리의
전체 문서를 export 하겠냐고 물어봤으면 합니다
7)Drawing 이나 Picture 편집시에 굳이 Done 버튼이
필요 없을 것 같습니다
편집 영역 외부를 클릭하면 Done 버튼 효과를 내는 것이
간단할 것 같습니다
8)Drawing 시에 손가락으로 그리기 때문에
실지로 그려지는 부분은 정작 안보이게 됩니다
그래서 다른 Drawing 프로그램들은 사용자가 설정에서 일정량을
offset 할 수 있는 옵션을 주는데 이 프로그램 역시
마찬가지 기능이 필요한 것 같습니다
꼭 부탁드리겠습니다
5) 와 8) 에 대해 부연설명 드리겠습니다

저장하는 듯 한데
그러지말고 획단위의 리스트로 저장해서 중간의 획들을

지금 방식은 불편해서 정말 사용하기가 힘듭니다
후자의 방법은 좀 느려지긴 하지만 이건 속도 이전의 문제라고
생각되며.. 누적된 내용을 캐시해 두어 나름 최적화 할수 있는
부분일겁니다
8) Finger Memo 같은 앱의 설정을 보시면 이해 되실겁니다
클릭된 위치보다 실제로 10~20 픽셀 정도 옵셋 된 위치에
그려주는 아주 간단한 구현만으로도 충분합니다

ReplyDelete현재 1.5버전의 개발이 거의 완료된 상태이고.. 지금 테스트 중이며, 오늘이나 내일 정도에 올릴 예정입니다.
현재 1.5버전에서 수정된 내용은 아래와 같습니다.
1) 버전 업데이트시 사진이 사라지는 문제 해결(기존의 지워진 사진은 복구)
2) 사진 찍고 포토앨범에 저장되게 수정.
3) 폴더 이동 시 멈추는 문제 해결.
4) 프로그램 시작시 마지막으로 사용했던 위치에서 시작.
5) URL, E-Mail, 전화번호 Link기능 추가.
6) 다국어 지원(한국어)
7) 제목 수정 가능하게.
8) E-Mail HTML 형식으로 보내는 기능 추가.
그리고.. 윗 분이 이야기 하신 부분에 답변을 하겠습니다.
1)현재 1.5버전의 4번 수정내용에서 일부 변경 수정되었습니다. 그리고.. 나머지 내용은 1.6버전에서 수정하도록 하겠습니다.
2) 2번과, 5번은 거의 같은 이야기인거 같습니다. 이 부분을 처음 개발할 때, 현재의 방법과 님이 이야기한 방법 두가지를 다 개발하였는데.. 속도등의 문제로 현재의 방법을 사용하였습니다. 이거 다시 한번 더 확인을 해보고 가능하 이 기능을 다음 버전에서는 추가 할 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
3)이건 간단한 문제이기 때문에 테스트하면서 1.5버전에 넣도록 하겠습니다.
4)이기능은 이해가 아직 잘 되지 않습니다. 어썸노트를 써보면 되는건지...^^ 가능하면 자세하게 한번 더 설명해주시면 감사하겠습니다.
5)2번 내용에서 답변 드렸습니다.

Can not import the DOC with image from the goolge docs. The image part shows #1 #2 #3 ..., not the image.

ReplyDeleteI just bought your Omni Notes V1.6 and it's a cool application, but there are some serious Problems with it on my IPod Touch 3G in iOs4 with attached microphone:
1. Audioquality of recorded notes is very poor!!! I wanted to use the application as a sketchbook for my songideas, but this seems not possible with this poor audioquality - Please let me choose the quality - I prefer 44,1kHz - like in all other equal applications.
2. When I send an image e-Mail, the audiofile is NOT attached, as it should be - this is written in the description in the appstore!
3. Sending an HTML-E-Mail even doesn't include pictures - just text and a symbol of missing picture - the audiofile is NOT attached, too!
These promised features made me buy your application, and I decided against Mental Notes, which is very similar to your application, but doesn't allow html-mails.
So I'm really disappointed at the moment.
Please fix these problems: 1. poor audioquality 2. no audiofile in emails 3. html-mails not working
as soon as possible!!!
Please do answer quickly, and tell me if these fixes are possible in a short time. So please make this app working correctly and with a good audioquality! Thank you in advance!
Is the currant version 1.6 can oganize the catagories delete or draging? I'll buy it if they can.

ReplyDeleteOmniNote is crashing when I copy&paste a note and then want to read it afterwards.
And it sometimes crashes and I dont no why.
I use it on an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1.
When will the next update come out? I hope soon. And hopefully this will be fixed.
Please let me know, when it is coming.
